Take A Hike!

It is time to get outside and enjoy the nature beauty we live in! Join the Buffalo Gals trail guides including Angelena Plummer, Tracy Sigdestad, Sarah Stout and Annie Loyd for a easy hike at Buzzard Roost Trail off Hwy 44 - recruit a friend or two, bring your kids!


We'll start the hike about 5:45 - 6 p.m., please bring water, wear comfortable clothes, good boots, hiking sandals or comfortable tennis shoes, if you use hiking poles it is always good to bring them for your comfort, although they are not necessary, this is an easy hike. We will have extra water and snacks. Come prepared to have a great time! The view from Buzzard Roosts is extraordinary and magnificent.


Buzzard Trail Loop is a 1.7 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located off Hwy 44 near Rapid City, South Dakota. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, it is only a 393 foot elevation gain, the trail is well maintained.
